Hold the hose real tight and get ready for a real fight
A new developer called Epicenter Games is developing a non-violent firefighting action-puzzle game for the Wii, called Real Heroes: Firefighters. The title should help prevent confusion with those other Real American Heroes. A firefighter game could be pretty fun. As long as the situations don't get stale and boring I see some potential here. It kind of reminds me of Trauma Center and Cooking Mama in terms of taking a "role."

Man, I totally predicted this game when the remote was first announced! I wish google could help me find it a little quicker. I suggested that they'd be making games along the lines of Wii Careers; you'd get to play as a firefighter, a police officer, a fisherman, a surgeon, a dentist, a racecar driver, etc. All would be packaged in a $30-$50 game that would play like WarioWare but with games that lasted 2 to 5 minutes instead of several seconds.

This sounds great. Hey, Burning Rangers was apparently a great game about firefighters.
Firefighters with jetpacks.
Yeah as long as it has a good difficulty curve and is interesting (maybe some cat rescue missions, or it could be funny somehow), I would get this. You could even have multiplayer for tougher blazes. And you could go into the building and chop through doors with the axe, or something.

Is this based on an arcade game? I've played one along similar lines and I seem to recall it had a similar name. It was actually kind of fun, but it was kind of a quarter muncher.

There are basically two songs from Transformers movie I liked. You've got the Touch and Weird Al's Dare to be Stupid. It was so weird when Optimus Prime got turned into a fire truck. As far as I know he never had firefighting missions.
