Get Hooked on expensive Wiimote decoration
The EBGames listing for Hooked says that it includes a "free controller," but we have two problems with that claim. First, the package costs $60. We doubt some fishing game would cost $60 without being bundled with accessories, meaning it's not really a free controller. Second, a Wiimote fishing controller costume is not a controller. So the Dreamcast fishing controller can emulate the Wiimote, but the Wiimote needs a shell to approximate the Dreamcast fishing controller.

Sounds dumb. Why would anyone buy the attatchment? Well, maybe if your really into fishing, but wouldn't you go REAL fishing instead, then? Silly Nintendo, thinking people would buy this...

Is this a real fishing game, or that cartoony fishing minigame thing that was demoed by someone on this site a month or so ago?
If it is actually a real fishing game, not just some minigame, it sounds pretty good, and eventually, I would be able to just buy it used without the cheesy controller any way.

Personally, it looks awesome. I want one. I don't agree with the negative outlook so long as the game is good and I think the plastic shell makes sense and would add to a fishing game.

i always wanted to get the rod for sega bass fishing for my dreamcast... i think i'll revive the dream with this game. it looks really cheesy and stupid as hell, but i think it might be fun.

Well, $10 for a steering wheel add on was a fun idea, why not pay an extra $10 for fishing remote add on?

PS - I still play my dreamcast fishing games with the fishing controller from time to time and it's still fun. Not to mention that said fishing controller was fairly expensive back when originally released.

Just so you are aware, this game isn't created by Nintendo.
