A puzzling connection
Setsuzoku no Puzzle, or Puzzle of Connections, is worth a playthrough just for its synthy score; besides, downloading the homebrew game and listening to the music tracks takes little to no effort. Actually clearing a level or even learning how to attack the puzzle, however, will require a considerable amount of work.
Modeled after Match It, a 1989 arcade game, you'll have to knock out 140 tiles against a timer. Each multicolored square has a symbol -- moons, stars, and other Lucky Charms marshmallows -- that you can link with an identical piece to remove them both. Though your connecting line can stretch all the way across the playing field, the catch is that the link must turn no more than two corners to be valid.
You'll suffer several frustrating losses before you get to the point where you've trained your eyes enough to spot similar tiles, but the satisfaction that comes after everything "clicks" and you complete a level is ample reward. If you get stuck, you'll be able to hit X to have the computer eliminate a match for you several times. Head past the post break for more screenshots of the homebrew puzzler.

I been playing this game for about a week now and I'm rather disapointed that the Highscores mode doesnt work. I think my highest score was over 200 something on level 4 or 5.

Crass, if your highscores or saving on a game does not work, the usual solution is to DLDI patch it for your Flashcart, easy enough to do.
This is a good game, I just tried out the first level and it was certainly enjoyable. :)
Needs some cleaning up in some places, like the letters all clearly show pink pixels on the edges in a way they shouldn't and some of the graphics look a bit rough, but given that this is a very early release I gotta say it's awesome.

O rly?
Actually this game doesnt support DLDI at the time being (I'm assuming you havent actually played the game otherwise you would realize this.) and from the readme it says: "It is only one version 0.1, perfectly playable, but to which it still misses many things: the management of the highscores, more elaborate graphics, but also of the small innovations in the gameplay."
So im guessing that means high scores are implemented yet (like a way for you to input ur initials and for it to save them, etc.)

I have played the game, but not long enough to actually get a game-over and see the highscore input or anything.
Which is weird actually, I was able to DLDI patch it normally.
