Wii Warm Up: What?

But we can't figure out what she says when we screw up. We don't even want to color your impressions by guessing. What is she saying? It haunts us like a word-ghost. Please, help us exorcise our haunty word-ghost!
Here's the audio file. Good luck!

Sean @ May 20th 2007 11:25AM
I'll bet it's "You not mind!"
acKK @ May 20th 2007 11:25AM
Hmm.. maybe she says "You're not trying?"
Seems to make sense.
Then again she could also be mumbling a pan-angry "YOU'RE DYING!"
taz @ May 20th 2007 11:29AM
To me, it sounds like "Do not mind".
G @ May 20th 2007 11:39AM
It sounds really like, "Do not mind". That makes the most sense.
DrunkenKender @ May 20th 2007 11:56AM
I also thought it was "You're not mine.." Definitely doesn't sound like "Do not mind." Neither of them make much sense.
rainer @ May 20th 2007 12:28PM
My girlfriend and I both have always thought she was saying, "eww, not mine."
Sarah @ May 20th 2007 12:31PM
According to this site:
http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/RTGAM.20070330.wcookoff0330/BNStory/Technology/AtPlay
"If you've done well, she might offer praise but if you made a mistake, she will say 'do not mind', telling you not to let it trouble you too much and to try again."
linkedtothepastry @ May 20th 2007 1:05PM
"you're not trying."
Zoe @ May 20th 2007 1:13PM
i think its 'do not mind'...a bad translation of 'nevermind'
cristi? @ May 20th 2007 1:45PM
I hear "you not mind"
Mr Khan @ May 20th 2007 1:46PM
Its either You're not mine or Do not mind
those are the only ones that make any sense, but i could come up with some others given time and my unique sense of humor
Ken @ May 20th 2007 1:55PM
I thought it was like:
"Good, not mine!"
Alisha Karabinus @ May 20th 2007 2:50PM
Damn, Mama is harsh. Burn some food? YOU'RE NOT MY CHILD!
sillierputty @ May 20th 2007 3:33PM
I thought she was saying "Ew! Not mine!" because she didn't want to eat the food I just burnt. Stir frying is hard!
hvnlysoldr @ May 20th 2007 3:42PM
I know those blocks occur when the computer can't read the Japanese font, but how about some Webdings instead?
Brad Root @ May 20th 2007 4:09PM
Sounds like Do Not Mind to me. You can hear the "du" at the beginning of Do, gives it away. Plus the official site confirms it.
wiifan93 @ May 20th 2007 5:15PM
she is saying "you're not mine" because she is your "mama" and she is disowning you because you screwed up the meal.
Shayne @ May 20th 2007 8:50PM
She says, "Eww, Not mine!"
Pacdude @ May 20th 2007 8:51PM
I seem to be a bit late, but it's really "Do not mind," which would be in line with how Mama acts, with lines in the DS version like "Don't worry; Mama will take care of it." or something like that.
derfreddy @ May 20th 2007 9:39PM
when u play it backwards she says "satan is a jew"
Joshua Tompkins @ May 21st 2007 3:01AM
Shes saying "Eww not mine!"
Tom @ May 21st 2007 4:10AM
She's clearly saying "Uwo Na Hime", which is Japanese for "When you're frying vegetables at that temperature, you need to apply more grease to the pan. Alternatively, lower the flame on the burner."
You're welcome.
Garflax @ May 21st 2007 6:57AM
Yeah, I think she's saying,
"You're not mine."
Phil @ May 21st 2007 9:25AM
I'm pretty sure she's disowning you with an angry "you not mine."
Poor Mama.
Morris Levy @ May 21st 2007 11:31AM
I think it is "do not mind".

These are what I like to think she says:
"Eww, not mine!" when you mess up.
"Good dog!" when you do a good job.
"Egg salad!" when you do excellent.
"Cheep going." when you need to finish.
Andres Romero @ May 21st 2007 3:59PM
For me it's "Dude, not mine!"
3x3cut10n3r @ May 21st 2007 6:05PM
She is indeed saying, 'Do not mind'.
This is just Engrish.
The Japanese sometimes would say 'Don't Mind, Don't Mind' when consoling someone for making a mistake.
They just seem to have used the extended version, as in 'Do not mind'.
Epsilon @ May 21st 2007 8:59PM
She's saying "do not mime". I think.
JV @ May 21st 2007 10:59PM
Its almost definitely "Do Not Mind"
napalmlove @ May 23rd 2007 12:42AM
Agree with above. "Eww, not mine!"
