Digimon: From Dusk 'til Dawn

Looks like Digimon is getting into the double-your-gaming, double-your-profit market with its latest. Namco Bandai has announced Digimon Dusk and Dawn, two parallel stories, each with their own Digimon and Digifarms. Take on the role of a Sunshine trainer, or a trainer from the Dark Moon district, each with their own suspicions about the other side's role in a recent earthquake that is causing Digimon to devolve back into Digi-eggs.
Digimon Dusk and Dawn will feature WiFi battles and scads of all new Digimon for you to collect. The games are currently set for a fall release -- just about the time you've decided that maybe you should put the Pokémans aside. How convenient!

Oh oh, looks like its running on Capcom's (Megaman) Battle Network engine! :P

Nushio, I have to agree with you a lot there.

Digimon World 1 had long load times and seemed just an enlarged digital pet game and limited digivolutions, no mega-ultimates. World 2 had a random dungeon generator and without Gameshark increasing my levels I would have never made it through the whole game. World 3 was very enjoyable, had lots of digimon and evolutions, a decent card battle system I got into, but also suffered from too much grinding. This game doesn't interest me.

oh, yay, another digimon game. Plot looks dull, the two version thing and the group thing seems to copy the Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire idea, and the graphics arent that great.
Sad to say, it just makes the francise crappier and makes me wish it just ended after the second season of the anime *sigh*

Actually I've loved every season of Digimon, People just have stupid expectations and expect it to be as good as the first, which will never happen, regardless of talking of Digimon/Pokemon/Other.

all I ever want is the original digimon keychain to come back, is that too much to ask for? T_T

It looks kind of cool, I think ... but I won't judge until some impressions are out.
By the way, the third season of Digimon was the best; I don't care if anyone refutes that!
