Jack Thompson goes after Wendy's

The ever-antagonistic Jack Thompson is up to his usual business of publicly decrying anything remotely connected to video games. It doesn't get much more remote than Wendy's. According to GamePolitics, Jack sent an angry email to the CEO of the company about their association with the Wii.
As we know, Manhunt 2 will be released on the Wii. And as we also know, Wendy's has begun giving away promotional Wii-themed toys. It might be kind of hard to tell from the picture, but look closely and you'll see that the toys have nothing to do with Manhunt 2.
We may only be amateur logicians, but in addition to the inaccurate claim that the promotion of the Wii is an indirect endorsement of Manhunt 2, we think we see a hasty generalization here: one violent game doesn't mean that the entire set of Wii games (which contains the games promoted here) is violent, or that the Wii is a violent platform. Feel free to correct our analysis in the comments. We could always use more logic in our discussions of Mr. Thompson.

And suddenly, somewhere, the guy who decided to turn the blood gray in Mortal Kombat is saying, "Naa Naa! I told you so!"

It's people like Jack Thompson that are the reason they have to put the "not for children three and under" warnings on those toys...
It's a shame too, because I kind of wish he would choke on one.

It's not just a Hasty Generalization. It's also Guilt by Association and Causal Slippery Slope.
I didn't think it'd be possible to incorporate 3 fallacies into one statement like that, but Jack Thompson seems intent to swing for the fences.

WOW!!!!! i didnt think he could find anything more useless to complain about...... but i guess i was wrong.... whats next? “nintendo ds's are immoral because if a child lit it on fire and threw it at someone, theyd get hurt!!!!”..... i mean really.....

That's is like saying that since one politician is a liar and a crook, they all are. I mean, that kind of generalization is just downright...wait, bad example.

It's no use trying to argue to Jack that not all games are violent, he automatically assumes that if it's a game, and you play it, that you are violent, you are an idiot and you are going to commit a massacre...
But hey, maybe this'll help lift the kiddy image a little bit because he'll help tell the Thompson haters that Wii has violent games too.

Boy, you people gotta look past the hazy wall of boxed doom and see the truth. Not only is he right but man, those toys themselves are violent. Why, I bet if I threw one hard enough at your head I'd crack it right open, there t3rr0rist weapons I tell's ya!!!!! Plus, Jack tombstone believe it or not, works for the games industry, its really a big conspiracy, the pay him to look like a quack and idiot about this stuff, so that when any person that "is" in there right mind when they stand up against video game violence and other impure things(cause lets face it, it does get outta hand sometimes and then some), no one will take them seriously. See, a conspiracy

Mr. Thompson has a habit of not providing evidence to back himself up. He just sends out threats and claims without even thinking. He should be arrested for harassment or something like that.
