Raving Rabbids 2: Electric Boogaloo?

Rumor has it that a sequel to Rayman Raving Rabbids is in the works. This rumor is being based on an image at the back of a bundled art booklet for the Xbox 360 version of the game (yes, the image above), hinting that we may have all not seen the last of these psychotic bunnies. The teaser image lends a bit of credibility to the rumor, given that no other console's version has held the same image, but might also mean that said sequel is set to grace Microsoft's system and not the one we hold dear. We'll just have to wait and see, it seems.

I got the first one for Wii as soon as it came out and enjoyed it. Thought the game was a little easy, but a nice way to demonstrate the Wii's powers. I don't think the sequel will provide the same amount of enjoyment.

It would be silly for them not to continue to support this title on the Wii. It is just shy of being a million seller.

Really, I couldn't care less if we got Raving Rabbids 2 or not, first game was bad (though I finished it for lack of some better game at the time), second probably more so.

when i knew i was getting a wii, i looked at raving rabbids thought, "wow. this game looks so absolutely stupid." as stupid as it looked, it kept nagging at me in the back of my mind, and i had to have it... now it's one of my favorite games. i think it's the reason that my parents ending up getting a wii.
if they come out with a raving rabbids 2, i would buy it in a heart beat. raving rabbids is a great party game.

Raving Rabbids was awesome in my room, and it seemed like it was designed Wii first. It'd be a good strategy for to go for Raving Rabbids 2 on the Wii to take advantage of the growing Wii market.

Meh, Raving Rabbids' usefulness ended when Warioware came out. Unless the sequel is a real Rayman platformer, I couldn't care less.

I found Raving Rabbids to be much much better than Wario Ware.

I'd wager that the only reason the 360 version is the only game to hint at a sequel is because it's the last one to be released - after the Wii version sold so well. I'm certain that the sequel will be at least Wii, likely multiplatform. They wouldn't just forget about all the money they made with the original Wii version!

It depends on the other players.
WarioWare is only "Really Good" when all the other players can understand the games.
Up to that point, you can't really get a good multiplayer game going.
Rayman was easier for folk to get right into. But.. All those menus! A "I've got family round.. Lets just play.. No I don't want the kids to spend 10 minutes picking an outfit.. Just PLAY! Pick me some games. Keep score.. Play!" menu item would've been much appreciated.

Even without that the end? segment, a sequel could have been predicted. I also hope it will be a truth platformer

I owned both Wario Ware and Rayman Raving Rabbids. I STILL own Rayman and have since traded in Wario. I found that wario was a bit more intimidating to n00bs. It wasn't as pick up and play as Rayman. Where Wario succeeded at being weird, Rabbids succeeded in humor and charm. Friends would howl watching the cow tossing competition. I still play rabbids regularily and currently hold the #5 in Canada position as a result. :P I can't wait for the next one.
