It's official: Phoenix Wright 3 confirmed for U.S.

Titled Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations, the third title in the series has been confirmed as arriving on the DS in the U.S. this September. That's correct, we'll all be able to enjoy more of the lawyer-em-up goodness of the franchise in under 5 months. The third title will also have players, at times, taking up control of Mia Fey.

Any objections? We didn't think so ...

I've been waiting for this day for a long time... Hopefully the localization is closer to the first game than the second. Not that Justice for All was bad, mind you. I still love that game more than most other games.

All Phoenix Wright games have been GBA games ported to the DS with an enhanced interface.

Gyakuten Saiban 3 is probably the most boring out of the lot. The novelty of murder trials does wear just a slight bit thin after 3 games, the 4th somehow is more exciting and vibrant than 2 or 3 somehow... But hey, this is great news, all the Phoenix Wright series is awesome.

Seriously, keep 'em coming. But no spoilers! I've been avoiding them like crazy.

Here's a thought: Do you think they'd change Godot's name in the US? Enough people already think of him by that name, and it's not a very "Japanese" sounding name in the first place.

I'm pretty sure the press release referred to him as "Godot". The description on Capcom BBS did, anyway. It makes sense - his name is taken from a fairly popular play.
