Gamestop visits the future and brings back a list

Feel like planning your game purchases for the rest of the year? We can help, with this list of release dates and prices from EB/Gamestop's point-of-sale system.

There's some reasonably exciting stuff on there, like Manhunt 2 (August 1st), Dewy's Adventure (September 3rd), and NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams (October 1st), as well as stuff that is slightly less mass-appeal, like Escape from Bug Island and CSI 4: Hard Evidence. There's a large cluster of EA stuff marked as being released on November 1st, but we suspect that date is a placeholder. For that matter, don't take any of these release dates as ironclad.

The full list is available for browsing after the break. It's still useful even if you don't plan to go into Gamestop for some reason.

(not) surprisingly, this list leaves out MP:3 and Super Mario Galaxy, just to name two. I believe that both these titles have a launch date of 6/1/2007 on their website, but it's BS either way...

August 1st for Manhunt 2. That sucks. I recently saw a release date of June 1st on amazon.com. I hope GameStop is wrong. I really want that game.

I dunno, a CSI game with the wii-mote might be kinda slick.

But i'm a sucker for the show, (well, earlier seasons).

An important thing to remember while reading this list is the fact that Gamestop is notorious for making up release dates as they see fit.

Well, the easiest answer would be that Nintendo hasn't announced any kind of release date for Smash Bros.

My guess is that Smash Bros. is not coming out in 2007.

This is so FAKE! The 3 big titles SSBB MP3 and SMG couldn't have all been delayed! And where is Day of Disaster, Project Hammer, Bwii, and Mario Strikers Charged.
BAD try Gamespot...do a little more research before you try and pull another stunt like that again.
