Reggie lost out to Phil on LittleBigPlanet

If you've been eyeing shots of LittleBigPlanet and wondering why it isn't ours, you're not alone. Even Reggie Fils-Aime thought that Media Molecule, the company behind the intriguing platformer, would be a perfect match with Nintendo. Unfortunately, Sony's Phil Harrison beat him to the punch. Reggie couldn't resist getting in a little jab, though. "That product, I think, is quite intriguing. I'm not sure how well it will do on the Sony platform, quite frankly, but I think that the product they showed was outstanding." Frankly, we're not sure how it'll do, either. After all, people need to actually own a PS3 to be able to play it, eh?
Reggie's other comments might shed a little light on what's in store for Nintendo. Though he loves LittleBigPlanet, he wasn't too impressed with Playstation Home, the PS3 community. So when our Miis hit the road on some distant future day, it's probably a safe bet to assume they won't be heading for their house or trophy room.

It will most likely not sell well on the PS3. It's only hope is that people will get tired of Resistance, and being that there are no other good games for the PS3 gamers will be forced to buy it out of desperation.

yeah Nintendo has gone on record saying they were interested in flow as well. They need to to spend a little more or their niche is going to be eroded. LBW and home are seriously starting to sell me on the PS3

So while Microsoft consumes all the "big things" Nintendo and Sony are going to fight for the "next big things"
This should prove to be interesting
And i suppose i was correct about Nintendo not wishing to directly emulate HOME. What they do with the Miis will be what MySims should have been. MiiSims will be like MySims with a small online mode and Miis

To the first poster, stfu. No one wants to her stupid comments like that. Anyway, back to the article, I think if Nintendo got LittleBigPlanet then the already awesome gameplay that has been shown would probably have been more fun. With it being on the PS3 the gameplay will probably take a small hit but the graphics will look amazing as we have already seen.

Haha you know whats funny the N64 was on top and had billions of good games then the PS2 came along and sold 42 million units. If I remember correctly everyone said the PS2 was overpriced, it had no good games and would fail.....looks like you were wrong. Come on fanboy flamers come yell at me and tell me how much my system sucks, ill just laugh and continue playing Motorstorm.

It'll happen again. . .Just let Nintendo enjoy it's ride.

Can't you read anything related to gaming without hearing a bunch of fanboy smack talk... *looks at URL*... Oh, right.

You're on crack. I own 4 Wii games and 5 PS3 games. Guess which is getting played the most? As a hint, it has a big shiny black case.
I don't think the Wii could have possibly handled the graphics or physics in this game. Then there is the level creation and sharing. Since the Wii doesn't have a HDD and has virtually no online capabilities, the whole concept would have never work there.

i agree...although i own all three next gen systems i believe this game is going to pan out best on the PS3..graphics, physics, level creation, it looks amazing....it would be interesting on Wii i agree but would not look nearly as beautiful
