VC Monday Madness: Star Fox 64 and more

Another Monday means another week where new content is available for download on the Virtual Console service. This week, Nintendo finally hooks us up with Star Fox 64, as well as two other games, hopefully satisfying those who have not been so happy with the service recently. Without further delay, let us present the games:
- Star Fox 64 - N64 - 1 - 4 players - 1,000 Wii Points
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - NES - 1 player - 600 Wii Points (that is not a typo)
- Dragon's Curse - TurboGrafx16 - 1 player - 600 Wii Points
[via press release]

TMNT . . .hardest . . . game . . . ever. and not very rewarding. but it was definitely hot stuff when it came out. does it have any value today? that's doubtful. i wonder if Nintendo preserved the graphical slowdowns and glitches in the later levels . . . ? man, i spent a lot of time beating this game.

Dragon's Curse is definitely worth your while. Its a little slow going at first, but picks up pretty quick. The graphics are nice, and has a catchy sound track that you'll be humming for days.

It doesn't update till for another 45 minutes(11:00am central time).

TMNT is 600 points? Is that a typo? Because I don't see why such a mind-bogglingly frustrating game would cost 100 points more than other NES games.

@spino10 - they aren't available each week until noon-EST / 9am PST. You have to wait another 45 minutes.
I would love to download Star Fox 64 because of the save mid-game save points featured as part of the Virtual Console emulation.
I don't plan on downloading titles of games I own the original version of, but I never played very far into Star Fox 64 because I didn't like how you had to restart the game each time you turned it off. If that is no longer a problem, then I just might download the game.

Starfox 64, Finally!
When I saw TMNT, I was like, "Nice!" Then I saw it wasn't "Turtles in Time" and I was like... Awww...

Yea! StarFox, or as a friend of mine always called it "Star Schmuck". I believe this one was the best of the bunch and the follow-ups never matched it. My favorite boards were the free-roam regions but I thought the free-range boards on the DS were uninspired. The fuel timelimit constraint on the DS version really sucked away most of the fun of playing the game because instead of concentrating on destruction I had to constantly watch my fuel gauge.
