Here come two new VC challengers from Capcom
Two superb Capcom fighting games are headed to the Virtual Console. Final Fight and the inevitable Street Fighter II Turbo Hyper Fighting have been spotted on the ESRB's list of rated Wii games. The SNES version of Final Fight lacks co-op play and Guy, but has plenty of "Oh! My car" to satisfy us. Street Fighter II Turbo is just like Street Fighter II, but sped-up, with more moves, more characters, and some bizarre changes made to the color scheme. We aren't sure why we're explaining this, because everyone in the world has played enough Street Fighter II to know the different versions.
Oh, also new on the list was Tecmo's Mighty Bomb Jack. As obscure game advocates, we feel like we should be most excited about this one, but ... yeah, Final Fight is really, really awesome.

Great, my gf will love this. When I downloaded the first Street Fighter II she ate it up, and she's hooked on fighting games now. I even took her to the arcade to play Capcom Vs. SNK and just about the next day she went out and found a copy for teh GCN. I'm not sure what kind of monster I've created, but I know she'll be pleased with these.

Fuck.
Is there a way I can VC-sell warrior within or exchange it for turbo?

Out of all of them, I think this would be the SF 2 version I would like to keep.

Yo JC,
Capcom Classics had an excellent port of the arcade Final Fight, which, as you mentioned, has Guy, co-op, and the dude says "OH MY GOD!" (don't tell the kids). I would imagine that it looks better, too. In other words, is there any reason to buy this one, if you have access to the compilation? Why no mention of the alternate (and seemingly superior) option?

a) I can't tell people to buy a previously-released game for another system, although, you know, they should. The arcade version on CCC is great (I played all the way through it with a friend). It's got Poison too.
b) Despite the fact that it's censored and therefore we should dislike it on principle, "OH! MY CAR" is actually funnier than "OH! MY GOD"

Touche, good sir. What a great game. FF2 and 3 will be welcome on my VC.

wth am i going to do with the first sf2?!? this totally sucks for all of us who bought it.

That sucks bout the SFII WW - SFII HF thing. I kind of saw it coming but I don't have a Wii (yet? Still don't know if I want one) so I have'nt really said anything. I guess it's just like back in the day they want you to buy SF 3 times for SNES. Guess it'll 6 times now for some, lol.

1. They should give a discount to people who already bought SF2 on the VC. I'd pay 400 points but no more.
2. Capcom & Nintendo, PLEASE... Final Fight only uses 2 buttons. Make it compatible with the Wii remote. Many people will not buy it because they either don't have a classic controller or don't like it.

No Guy on FF? Oh nooo...oh wait. It doesn't matter. You can still throw down some mayoral whoop-ass. Who wants a pile-driver from from his honor? I'm looking at you Andre, Jr.
