EA brings Tiger Woods in for PGA Tour 07 Wii commercial
EA Sports demonstrated its commitment to making the Wii port of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 a success by casting the title star for the game's commercial. While this move seems like an obvious one, it would have been easy to just fill the 30-second spot with gameplay shots and close-ups of the polygonal golf pro. Instead, the TV advertisement features the sports celebrity demonstrating the Wii's unique controls with a graceful swing. Read on for the classy video.

I have serious doubts about this game
But then again, SSX Blur and Madden 07 tell those doubts to shut the hell up

I have been waiting for this game. I really can't wait the 5 days before it is released. Drinking tournaments are definately on the agenda.

Just so you're aware, you've misused the phrase "past the cut" here, which is why the first commenter asked where the video was located.
(Past/after) the (cut/jump) are a set of phrases that come from pre-web journalism, in reference as to a story that is split amongst pages. So, an article may be on page A1 but is continued on A23, and so that story continues after the jump.
Now in web parlance, it generally means either there's an adblock of text that one should scroll past to get to the rest of the content, or even more commonly (especially on blogs), it means that a post's content has been cut down so the front page isn't so full. Telling someone to click after the jump or past the cut generally encourages them to load the post's single page, which will then house the content.
Other people within Weblogs, Inc have misused this phrase before, so I'm not terribly surprised, but in the future, you might want to be a bit more clear when you mean that one should click the "Read" link as opposed to just loading the full post. :)

Great advert. I think this game is going to sell really well. And yeah, you totally botched the "after the cut" thing.

He has the strap on wrong.
Jag0tje @ Mar 11th 2007 8:13AM
Yeah I was wondering about the strap too...how the hell did he manage to get it on like that?
Talon @ Mar 11th 2007 12:12PM
He doesn't have it on wrong, that's just something that Nintendo included on the newest version of the Wiimote strap. It's a little slider that tightens the strap around your wrist. It's pretty handy, but I don't really use it much, to be honest.

Yeah, you're wrong. The slider's always been there, and your wrist goes behind it, not in front.

Hopefully this game uses the Wii-controls good enough, then it´s a must buy for my wife!
