GDC 07: Twilight Princess, Wii Sports take awards
The awards continue to pile up for Nintendo. Both Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Wii Sports have taken awards at the GDC Choice Awards. Twilight Princess nabbed an award for Best Writing, beating out top contenders like Sam & Max, Oblivion, Dreamfall and Bully.Wii Sports picked up the award for Best Game Design, beating other hopefuls, such as Okami and Viva Pinata. The Best Game award, however, went to Microsoft Game Studios' Gears of War, proving that sometimes, graphics do make a game better.

Hmm... Zelda, Wii Sports, Gears of War... wow, what a coincidence! Those just happen to be the very three games I've been playing the most this year!

Well Zelda & WiiSports are great, and I have hear that GoW is awesome also, but I have not played that one. Lets see who wins at the Spike TV's Video Game Awards, when is that btw?

i dont understand all the hype around gears of war....i played it and i really didnt like it that much at all..i dont know what it was about it...cuz i wanted to like it...i just couldnt

Now did they say that graphics made that game better or are you just saying it at an attempt to be funny? Now I'm a Wii fanboy but you have to give credit where credit is due. Gears of War rocked.
