Romance of the Three Kingdoms XI's Action Mode

Last week we brought you the news that Romance of the Three Kingdoms XI with Power-Up Kit was being ported to the Wii, and now we have some details on one of the new gameplay modes. Action Mode takes you out of the strategic game and into a one-on-one horseback battle with an opposing general, where combat is controlled with Wiimote and Nunchuk motion.
It's still turn-based: you select commands from a small window until you've worn the enemy down, at which point you select a 'shoot' command. You then attack small targets on the opponent's body, and shake the Nunchuk to prevent the targets from getting smaller. Hit enough targets, and a winner is you!
Is it still a minigame when it takes place within the main game? We aren't sure, exactly, but it sounds fun.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms (NES) is an all-time classic! My friends and I, as warlordish kids, would hang out for days at a time playing just one game of RTK. It was Risk for the NES. Trading rice and strategizing on whom to thrust war upon next... magical. Absolutely magical.

I'm a fan of this series too. Would love to see the snes' Rot3K 2(my all-time favorite) on VC, and this ps2 port on the Wii(as i no longer have a ps2).
Hope this comes out in the states soon, cause i would definitely be among the 3 or 4 people in north america to buy it asap.
Go Zhao Yun! (or Chao Yun if one prefers)
