Manipulate the masterpieces
If you're going to do a jigsaw puzzle (or ten), then why not learn the details of a great masterpiece of art at the same time? We're not saying this DS puzzler is educational or anything, but it probably can't hurt. This is probably another of those games it's safe to import regardless of your comfort level with Japanese, and a great idea for the touchscreen.

I must admit that I'm a real sucker for these trad-style (as in traditional) past times. I've been looking forward to getting my hands on Quick Spot for a while.
I like the idea of slinging the DS in my bag for a long train journey then tinkering the time away reassembling many a masterpiece.
I wonder if this will get a nice western localisation. It seems more and more is coming our way. When I first saw Machigai Museum I never expected to see it hit our shores. Yet about a year later and Quick Spot is just around the corner (spring for the UK I believe). Bring it on.
Now if they could just crack DS crochet I would be all set! *wink*

solving puzzles are one thing for games(like zelda), but jigsaw puzzles. . .comes on

Another cool 'non-game' for quick, on the go fun. I only wish it was part of a larger pack of these kind of 'non-games' instead of a stand alone cart.

Looks 7x8 or 9x11 pieces for the different puzzles? If it had a higher zoom and allowed for a lot more pieces, I could see myself importing several copies of this. At least one for each member of my family, who's idea of a get-together is 30 people spending a week putting together as many big puzzles as possible.

@ Lin - You comments gave me a few ideas that would be great to add... the ability to link with two to four people at the same time to put the puzzle together and the ability to download new puzzles or create your own over the Nin WiFi network. It won't happen, but it's nice to dream. :)
