Wiimote deals massive damage on the 360

Using the Xbox 360's XNA tool set, one intrepid coder decided he would like to incorporate the Wiimote. Using the the tool set, you can see how he affects a 3D model in real time by moving the Wiimote, although the input command lags a bit. We can't even begin to imagine how one would even accomplish what he did (we are not "teh haxxorz"), so we'll quietly sit in awe and direct you past the post break for the embedded video.

How is this working? I thought 360 used RF for its Wireless controllers, not BlueTooth...

I'm no 360 expert but it looks like they only translated the remotes input through the computer to the 360...

Looks as if the Wiimote is connected to his PC via Bluetooth, then that runs a network server via TCP or UDP which serves the data to the 360. i.e. the 360 can't use the wiimote directly, only via another PC.
Hmmm.

@1 If I'm not mistaken, it's running through the PC, which also explains the lag.

It can't be the free XNA toolset available because there is no network access available through the .NET Framework on the 360. He must be using a real commercial version of XNA.

I had posted that a while ago, as the second post, and hadn't activated it... It would be silly of me to post that after those other posts...
