MP3 could be delayed (again)

Come on! What do we have to do, Nintendo? Do you want us to slay a foreign diplomat? We will, we will honestly go to Wal-Mart, buy a shotgun, and kill whoever you please. Just don't, in the name of all that is holy and good, delay Metroid Prime 3: Corruption again. Please! We can't take all of this dancing around a release date and Reggie implying that the game will come later than expected, comparing it to the brilliance of Twilight Princess. Our hearts, as full of love for Nintendo as they are, only crave one thing: Samus.
Er, we mean ... Samus in a game. We aren't weird or anything.

Nintendo does this all the time. I don't know why anyone is surprised. Nothing from Nintendo ever comes out on time, be it games or systems.

One other thing. I heard from another site that Reggie still didn't confirm online play for metroid, he only hinted at it... Note to Reggie: Stop being so secretive...Sony and Microsoft aren't trying to steal your online secrets...LOL!!

This is bad though, If Nintendo wants the next Metroid to be November 2007, then where does that leave Brawl?

Saying it might not be out as soon as we /want/ it to be out is not the same as saying it might not be out when we /expect/ it to be out. Proof of this is that I want the game to be out months ago, but it isn't expected until sometime in 2007. My glass is half full. So there.
Also, saying you'll kill someone for a video games sounds like Sony fanboyism. Nintendo fans are a peaceful bunch.

Initially I thought this was saying that the MP3 channel had been delayed. My initial reaction was, "Fuck yea! An MP3 channel!" But now I am only filled with dissapointment, as I expected MP3, Mario Galaxy, and Smash Brothers Brawl to be delayed well into '08. That's just what Nintendo does. Maybe they hang out with Valve after work...

Hopefully the delay is going towards their development of the connect24 multiplayer feature. Otherwise, its inexcusable.

The good thing with games published, funded and codeveloped by Nintendo is that they have the guts, the critical eye and the money to take the game through several more rounds of development when it's needed. Retro Studios could probably deliver a decent game this winter, but instead they're focusing on taking it to the next level and polishing it to be a star title. Metroid Prime 2 in my opinion got a little lame after a while... too much running around and too little fantastic space adventure. I hope number 3 will introduce some new exciting game play.
