Wii video madness -- how to play with the Wiimote
Aside from now wanting to eat the Wiimote, we enjoy playing with them too. There are three new Japanese commercials giving quick instructions on how to use the Wiimote in Wii Sports and Wario Ware: Smooth Moves. You won't understand what they are saying but the visuals help. Some of the brief displays given were golf, tennis, bowling (it's neat to hear the announcer pronounce it), pool, driving and balancing in Wario Ware among others.

It's one of the games in 'Wii Play' - choice title!

If only we had some news on whether Wii Play/Hajimete
no Wii will actually come out stateside. I could really use the extra wiimote and a few more 'hey, come look at this' games.
That, and commercials in America would be nice... it's barely more than two weeks away! Though, it is interesting to note that in the first set of japanese commercials, just as with the english captions, the line was "wii remocon no tsukaikata" - how to use the wii remote. With this new batch, it's "wii remocon no abikata" - how to 'play with' the wii remote. (And, for those curious, the rest is just "for example, tennis; for example, baseball; etc.")
