Wii advertisement New York City style

We have seen huge ads in our days but this ad straight pwns. Call it small town syndrome but if the photographer is anything like us, the second we would have rounded the corner on that chilly NYC street to see the most awesome ad evah would have resulted in messed pants. For serious.

With the launch of the Wii only 19 days away, it is great to see more and more ads dedicated to the system. The Wii ads are way better than those strange and extremely boring PS3 commercials. Don't you think?

That is a lot of ad space. Guess now is the time for The masses to start finding out about the Wii, while us hardcore fans being to get all hyped up with less then a month to go before we all get our pre-orders filled ;)

Yeah, when I saw that ad, it definitely caught my attention and made me point and squeal. It's been there for over a week though. Man, Nintendo must be spending a crap load of money on that adspace.

$23 million is what they set aside for wii hype-

and TRU is to Wii as Bestbuy was xbox 360, TRU is getting 40-30% of the USA's shipments

Despite the fact that I will never own a PS3 by choice, that baby commercial is one of the best I've seen in a long time.

That being said, this Wii ad in Times Square is frickin' sweet.

Hope you guys like the ad, though I must say, it has to be seen in person to get the full effect. I'm not in the city often but when I went this weekend, the ad was like seeing the gates to heaven.

Launch can't come soon enough.

I was in NYC a couple weeks ago and visited that Toys 'R' Us. The Wii ad is amazing, but unfortunately it shares that space with a few other ads (the panels change to different images at regular intervals). Still, it's really sweet. 19 days left...!
