Eric @ Oct 2nd 2006 11:28AM
Nope. I'm still excited for it though...
Jitaroo @ Oct 2nd 2006 12:27PM

So the graphics for that game ARE going to be ridiculously great. I seriously thought that the first video of Battle Revolution was just a prerendered concept video... but WOW, I cannot wait for the Wii any longer.
Seeing Pokemon WALK UP TO EACH OTHER and attack is the best thing since Pokemon Stadium (which should have been there since Pokemon Stadium in the first place). No more "tackle but I'm not going to make any (visible) physical contact" type attacks.

The only bad thing about the video was that it wasn't a close up on the TV screen.
We Get It! You use the DS touch screen to make commands! Now let us see the 3D action up close!
(although any idiot can tell it's the Ruby and Sapphire Legends battling the Diamond amd Pearl legends)
truplaya @ Oct 2nd 2006 4:31PM
woo hoo! About time!
Ya know, it's funny, I was just tinking about a Pokemon game on the Wii doing the exact same thing...! I'm looking foward to this one!
And dang! I seriously need ot learn Japanese! But even though I had no idea what any word meant except "Pokemon", this video still brought tears to my eyes.

I've got kind of mixed feelings about Pokemon Battle Revolution; on the one hand, it looks great, but on the other, it feels like they really held back the battles in the DS games to try to sell this. It's silly that the battles on a system with at least as much power as the N64 look no better than the ones on GBA did. All the same, Battle Revolution does look really impressive, and I'll no doubt be getting it, along with Diamond or Pearl.

I kind of agree with you Dan, but I really don't see what's wrong with the system that they are using. Cuz, why fix what isn't broken? Most people would rather keep the 2D perspective than switch to 3D on the handheld games.
And the only thing that'll make me forget about Pokemon BR, is if they bring back the stupid concept of "shadow pokemon".
