I wonder if that game was designed for widescreen or if it's being stretched to fit the tv....it looks kinda stretched eh?

I wonder the same thing, barry... though I'm riveted on the furry orange boots the "spokesmodels" are wearing.
I'm so excited for this game.

It does look kind of stretched. What I really want to know, though, is where she got those fuzzy shorts and leg warmers. I would so wear those.
knot_U @ Sep 22nd 2006 2:00PM
No offence to anyone here but those shorts a hideous.

Why do you guys think it looks stretched? The text doesn't look stretched where it reads "Elebits" in english.
benjibot @ Sep 22nd 2006 5:31PM
Ugggh. . . that's some serious website bloat there Konami. My DSL is no slouch but I still had an awful long wait while you loaded something like 200-odd images none of us really needed. Also, I cannot get any of the videos to load. How exactly is it sensible to require Windows Media Player 10?
Ian Murray @ Sep 22nd 2006 5:51PM
Bejibot, are you on a Mac? If so, just download Flip4Mac, you'll be able to play WMVs through Quicktime.
But aaaaaanyway...
I could help but reading this post thinking "now those are some booth babes." 80's leg-warmers and all.

This game looks fun. The graphics look a lot better in this new trailer; I'll probably get this game at launch seeing as it doenst look like North America will be getting Duck Hunt this year.

It doesn't look stretched to me, looking at the Japanese text. I think it's running in 16:9.
Regardless, I just can't get excited for this game. I don't think I'll buy it.
Spex @ Sep 22nd 2006 11:08PM
It's not streached. Look at the crosshair on-screen. Seems proportional to me. Looks like 16:9 is a go. Unless these screens only look like they're wide screen.(?)
