Hudson names flyer, reveals other info
A long time ago Naturally, the Wiimote will act as a yoke for the plane, allowing a more realistic control scheme for navigating the skies. A variety of missions and unlockable content, the game will also feature multiplayer, however we're unsure as to whether multiplayer encompasses playing online or if it is strictly limited to local play. Does this mean that the rumored Bonk title is a no-go or being put on the back burner?
The game's page at Hudson's site may be accessed here.

Can you Star Wars fans imagine playing an X-Wing or Tie Fighter like game using the Wiimote and Nunchuck as the yoke and the weapons systems of your ship? I would like to see that almost as much as I anticipate the soothing hum of a lightsaber coming out of the Wiimote speaker.

Isn't this the one where you hold the 'mote like you would a paper airplane? If not, sorry. .
That one (this one?)looks HORRIBLE. The planes aren't "flying" thru the air, they are moving thru the air.. physics do not apply. I'm a huge fan of pilotwings-type games, but that looked like the worst game for the wii.
MHO, YMMV, etc. .

"Wing Island will also feature a two-player multiplayer mode in which players participate in a series of competitive tournaments, such as popping balloons or sky racing."
that's from the site you linked to, so no online I guess :(

Melcrose: I'd put money on the game you're referring to as being part of the Wii Play/My First Wii title that comes with an extra wiimote.
