Japanese launch list unveiled

Nintendo of Japan's website offers a list of those purported sixteen launch titles...and they're not all necessarily what you would have expected. Take a look!
- The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
- Wii Sports (including boxing and bowling to round out tennis, golf, and baseball)
- WarioWare
- Wii Play
- Red Steel
- SD Gundam Revolution
- Tamagotchi
- Ennichi no Tastsujin (a drum game, along the lines of Taiko Drum Master)
- Trauma Center: Second Opinion
- Elebits
- Necro-nesia
- Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz
- Super Swing Golf Pangya
- Wing Island (demoed at E3 2006, the "plane game")
- Kororinpa (a Marble Madness-type game of some sort)
- Machariku Domino (a domino game)

But where's Mario Galaxy?
Mr. Scolex @ Sep 14th 2006 5:24AM
We allready knew galaxy wasn't a launch title. It IS on the list, though. I forget where. Google translated it as Superm Ariogal Axy. I laughed. A lot.

Most amusing that the google translation also appears to incorporate Japanese pronunciation - LEAD STEEL!! lubberley

One game I noticed that is absent is Metroid. Has it be moved awy from a launch title?

I was going to say the same thing Luke... Metroid was supposed to be a big launch title and now it mysteriously disappeared. Could it just be a big America launch title since Japan has never been a fan?
Also, when does the US conference start?

So am i to understand that these are launch DAY titles? people keep using launch WINDOW titales, and just calling htem launch title, maybe a small edit would be nice...
Anyway, if this is THE list, Although there are good games, I urge you! Do not pre-order! Anything! Wait until the system and th good games are actually reviewed, see what's good, and maybe wait a week to get aclimated to the idea of Wii being actually being in your grasp, so when you buy it, you won't go apeshit crazy and Krunk for an hour, then lock yourself in your house for week(Wiik... I hope it won't be a wiik launch... on the launch wiik. i wonder how the wiiki page on the wii is doing. if i buy a wii, am i gonna become jewiish? i wiish i had a wii..).
So for the sake of your jobs, WAIT!
