Phoenix Wright already sold out

We've received many reports that the re-release of the immeasurably awesome game known as Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney is already sold out of its first shipment via popular retail site Amazon.com. The listing now states that any orders placed will not be shipped until the 29th of this month. Your best bet for getting your hands on it now are to either try other outlets online or hit up the brick-and-mortar retail spots in your town. We actually saw a few copies available at our local Target yesterday, if that helps...Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney was re-released on August 10th. The game follows a young defense attorney named Phoenix Wright and is published by Capcom. The game has been known to cure diseases both big and small, from Sudden Exploding Clown Syndrome to the dreaded Boogie Fever.

Really? I'm not surprised, as it is the second best game ever made (just behind Deus Ex) in my so-humble opinion. On the other side, my local store has trouble selling them. Can't friggin' wait for Justice for All. Must learn Japanese, must learn Japanese ... Arrgh!

You may want to check walmart.com for a copy. Last I saw this morning they still had copies in stock. I went to them when I found my Phoenix Wright shipping had been pushed back to September (likely caused by a lack of copies).

Man, I was a couple days late in seeing the original post about Amazon.com taking pre-orders and still managed to get a copy. It just arrived this morning! I'm so excited!!!

I placed an order about two weeks ago, and it was scheduled to ship today. I wonder how reliable Walmart.com is?

i have this game and its really good but it doesnt seem to be flying off the shelves quite so much here in england most shops have it in stock and i dont know anyone else who owns it is there something about this game that makes it appeal more to americans?

is it really that good? i live in greece and i've seen this game in the shelves for ages but nobody buys it. i've just been aware of it when joystiq and dsfanboy started going on about it. i gues ill get it when i get the money together.

I just recieved another email today from amazon. Originally Phoenix Wright was supposed to ship end of August. I then got an update mail saying September. This morning I got another one saying the estimated date is now OCTOBER 23rd!
