NBA Street benched for Wii

Considering EA's recent enthusiasm for Nintendo's Wii (stop laughing) and impressive lineup of games to be released for the console, we're quite shocked at the latest development with one of EA's most popular franchises. The next installment in the NBA Street series is only poised to extravagantly dunk on the PS3 and Xbox 360, leaving the better console in the dust. Due out in the Spring of 2007, the newest game will also be ditching current-gen systems.

Since it's not a direct quote, I'm not going to jump to conclusions. I left my mat at home, anyway ;)
Based on how that article reads, it looks like EA has only confirmed a 360 and PS3 release, not made an official word that the Wii is a no-go.
I agree that it would be odd for EA to flip-flop so often, pledging support one week and pulling it the next. Though EA is not the most innovative company, their support would definitely be welcome.

"Nintendo's Wii"
It's Wii, or if you insist, Nintendo Wii.

Good. The less 'Street' crap we have to have on the Wii, the better.

I dislike EA, maybe it's the constant pushing the same old 'brands' down our throats, maybe it's the lack of polish to the games, or maybe it's just the feeling i get that it's all about the sales rather than the games.
Personally i'd prefer they went to the wall, and so i won't be missing + titles on the Wii.

Well I know EA is showing support for the Wii. But, if they continue to leave series' like these out of speculation then they will always be disliked. I for one love Ubisofts direction with the wii.

If the Wii really was the "better" console. I doubt EA would leave it in the dust.
