Rumor: Nintendo to hold own show for Wii

Nintendo Now is stating that Nintendo will indeed be dropping some info at the Leipzig Game Convention and will also be holding a show all their own to provide even more information on their upcoming console. This show is said to be the final display of the console's abilities before it launches. The source that Nintendo Now claims gave them this juicy information is not named (of course), so take this all with a grain of salt.

I think I know the real event that Nintendo will reveal everything. Do you remember the code with the ending being "we are out of space?" Well, in late August, Nintendo is putting together an event called Space World 2006? Any connections? Maybe... Hopefully

ok... this isn't too much of a stretch:
+ Nintendo [rumored] to hold own show
+ Nintendo's previous exclusive show was called "Space World"
+ Nintendo releases press release teasing at the possible time of release hidden in the press release itself
+ Above press release ends with the paragraph: "And, for Nintendo GameCube™ owners, The Legend of Zelda®: Twilight Princess will be available for you this fall. An enhanced version also will be a launch title for Wii. That will all happen on … Oh look, we're out of space."
+ The press release ends with the word "space" not "room" or "time" which, to me, are much more naturally flowing words for that sentence.
that's all I'm saying, for those who didn't see these coincidences.

I heard a couple of days ago about this rumor. I take it to be truth. I think it is safe to say that they will give us the goods most likely in August. I see them doing this because I really think they are planning an October launch. I got my Nintendo Power yesterday and in one article about a game comming out called Open Season this was said. "Current gen versions are due out in late Septembe. The Wii version will follow this fall." I take the fall time to be September and October. November is winter month to me. Anyway I could be wrong but October makes big sense to me. If they launch in October this would give them time to get another shipment of Wiis off in stores before Christmas hit. This would put them a little ahead of the game with Sony. If they are dropping price and date in August this even makes that much more sense. Well keep my fingers crossed. I have had my money down for a Wii at my gamecrazy since last December. I just could tell this was going to be Nintendo's baby.
