DS release dates (and Final Fantasy V, too!)
Nintendo of America has issued release dates for most of the major DS releases in the fourth quarter. This wonderful list is as follows:Oct. 9: Clubhouse Games
Oct. 16: Nintendogs (Dalmatian)
Oct. 23: Magical Starsign
Oct. 30: Pokemon Ranger
Oct. 30: Children of Mana
Nov. 6: Elite Beat Agents
Nov. 13: Yoshi's Island 2
Dec. 4: Custom Robo Arena
Dec. 4: Kirby Squeak Squad
And also, for the GBA:
Nov. 6: Final Fantasy V Advance
Quite a few must-haves on that list, if we do say so ourselves. As high-profile as Yoshi's Island 2 may be, we find ourselves irresistably drawn of the allures of rhythm and finely honed stylus control in Elite Beat Agents. What are you most looking forward to, reader?
Oh, and this press release also engaged in torturing our souls.

I used to be a big RPG fan, so 10 years ago, I would have been over the moon about Mana, Magical Starsign and FFV.
But life changes (job, kids) have dictated that all gaming must now be taken in short spurts. Nowadays, my favorited are Big Brain Academy and NSMB's minigames. I'm looking forward most to Clubhouse Games and Custom Robo.
Elite Beat Agents? Like with Phoenix Wright, I'm intruiged, but I'll have to see it in person before I drop $35 on it.

I can't wait for Yoshi's Island 2. I don't know if a lot of people got to the play the first one, but I thought it was an incredibly fun game. I'm also intrigued by Elite Beat Agents since I hear so much hype around it. And the Clubhouse games would prob. be good for my b/f. All those along with Phatom Hourglass PLUS the Wii -- I'm never going to want to leave the apt.

What about Zelda and Star Fox and FFIII? Or are those 3rd quarter or 2007?

Since the localization teams are raping Elite Beat Agents, I'm definitely looking forward to Children of Mana and Yoshi's Island 2.

Where the hell are those Pokemon Diamond/Pearl games?
Zuko @ Jul 25th 2006 11:14PM
Those games are so awesome!
Answers to questions: StarFox, FF3, and LoZ will probably be a Quarter 3 release, at least SF and FF are, but LoZ might still not have a definite launch.
Pokemon D/P will probably be released in America by March 2007 at earliest.

I wasn't that interested in Clubhouse Games because the execution looked bland and boring (like Solitaire on Windows 95). But hearing that it's got so many games, DS Download play with one cart, and online play, I'm gonna have to check it out.
I can't wait till Elite Beat Agents comes out, even though I'm scared of its localization. The new agents look kinda weird (not as kickass like the Ouendan cheer squad). Also I worry about the music choice. I hope they use some nice fast catchy pop tunes (in the same vein as the J-Pop in Ouendan). But the use of the word "groovy" in every preview for this game makes me apprehensive.
Yoshi's Island 2 is a no brainer. I heard that the team doing it also did Yoshi Topsy Turvy which I found innovative, but very ugly and clunky. I hope they do this game justice as I love the original YI game.
I've never played any Mana series games, but I'd like to give Children of Mana a shot. And I haven't played a Pokemon game since the first ones, but Pokemon Ranger sounds okay.
