Earthbound compilation en route? [Update 1]
EGM's Rumor Mill is at it again, folks, with more news that you can shake a stick at. Besides two mind-blowing rumors for the Wii, 'ol Quartermann is throwing us a doozy for the DS: Nintendo is planning to release an Earthbound compilation. Presumably, this would include Mother 1, never released in North America, the revered Earthbound (a.k.a. Mother 2), and the new Mother 3, recently released in Japan. Sound like a sweet deal? You bet your pants it does. And pants are not things to be bet lightly.[Update 1: Silly us, Square-Enix has nothing to do with Earthbound. Thanks, Dead Prophet.]

Except, Earthbound is a NINTENDO game. Produced, and published by Nintendo. Why would Square-Enix be publishing a compilation if Nintendo games? I smell bull-shit

Except, it's not just a Nintendo liscense, it's either a port or a remake.

I do beileve, LttP wasn't ported by Nintendo for the GBA.

Nintendo is the publisher. However Squeenix could be assigned to due to the remaking and porting duties while it is still a Nintendo license.
Those Zelda Handhelds were developed by Capcom remember?

They corrected the other article saying that Nintendo is the one to release the earthbound bundle, not square-enix.
Nowhere in the article does it say the rumors are just about se... just RPGs
