DS Lite Stress Test

We've known for quite some time that Nintendo products tend to be very, very durable. Why, I myself once left my Game Boy Advance SP on top of my car, and started to drive away; only at around 40 M.P.H. did the SP finally fly off into heavy traffic, careening onto pavement and quite literally getting run over twice. Sure enough, despite the number on the paint job, the damn thing still functioned perfectly. But I digress.
Here we have a short video showing a sick, pathologically insane human being attempting to crush a DS Lite into utter submission. While he succeeds in making the fanboys shield their eyes to avert the pain, he absolutely fails to do any lasting damage to the unit. Rock on, Nintendo.

If you look closely, that's not his DS, but a display. I don't think anyone would do this to their own DS ^^;

I don't think that's his own DSL. Judging by the metal bracket-like object, it looks like a store demo.

That video is NSFW. I nearly screamed in pain and agony as I saw the poor DSLite's touchscreen being squished.
I cant believe it survived though.
Kids: Do NOT try this at home. Rather donate those unwanted DSLites over here!

Then again, after watching it again (I just had to, sorry eyes!), I noticed its a DSLite on display at Walmart/Target.
So thats why the touchscreen never works!
Those ******** deserve to die! People try to test NDS and find their screen completely damaged. *sigh*

Oh, that did make me cringe. Sure, he didn't risk it with his own DS, but why would you want to do such a horrible thing to such a precious DS Lite?

Wow, that is SICK!!!!! How the heck do all the display units I see every now and then have totally broken touch screens?!?!?!? They must have SERIOUSLY improved the screens on the lite.

The demo Lite at a local Meijer store has a broken top LCD. Dunno how exactly it happened, because I don't see any signs of trauma (other than, obviously, the broken screen).

i read about it on joystiq and its at a Walmart. Silver (#5), how could you do that to a PSP screen, you can't touch the LCD, it is under glass. Maybe you meant to say that you (tried to) broke the glass?

Sorry, they guys who did this are complete sh*tbags. Why would you try to destroy someone else's stuff? They could easyily be arrested and fined for destroying property... its all on tape. Not very bright individuals. I will make it a point never to go thier crappy memberless forum.
