Behold the black DS Lite

A mysterious fellow, wishing only to be known as Spudstercool, managed to get his finely manicured hands on an unnervingly attractive Black DS Lite, several days before its anticipated European release. We're not sure what UK retailer he works for, but we now have to assume that trenchcoats and pencil-shaped cameras are integral to their uniforms. If you manage a games store and recently viewed one of your salesmen entering an office, only for bright shafts of light to briefly pour through the blinds, you'd best be suspicious. You've either got a spy or an unstable superhero in your midst.

Damn. Those are sexy.

America never gets black. We always get the base color, plus blue, pink/purple, and red. Rarely black, rarely green.

I don't know why.

Anyway, we're slated to get Navy Blue, but not black.

Theres no way the Black DS looks better that Polar white, especially as the White model will match/compliment the Wii.
The black looks glossy, but after a while will seem sterile and bland.

When they had their teaser site up (back when it was still Revolution) there was a black Will there. May have just been a mock up though.

Each to his own, if I can get my Wii in black I'll be happy.

ohhhhhhh how cool the wait is killing me and if its super glossy like a psp and looks as posh as it seems i may get the black version or not then white. is it really thin and a major diffrence?

I'm glad that I didn't have a black DS to tempt me when picking up my white one. I have a black PSP and find the finger prints that show up all over the thing are really quite annoying and make it look dirty.

Anyone noticed the same for the black DS? It looks just as likely to pick them up by just thinking of touching it.

Touching (in the case of a black DS) is NOT good.

People, people I thought you guys had SOME sense. Go to Google and type in Nintendo Revolution or Wii. I can guarantee a bunch of pics of the Black Wii, and it looks sexy as HELL!!!

I agree about the problem with the glossy black getting fingerprints all over it. >.< The black iPods are notorious for that. Which is why I was thrilled when my macbook showed up in its matte black glory :D But you have to admit the black DS is pretty. Play it with gloves!
