Fun. Already seen slot loading drives accept and reject full size discs many times though. What I want to see is how it will accept and eject GCN discs. :(
Although... I could still watch that movie many times over just for the sake of seeing Shiggy ;)
thrillho @ May 16th 2006 12:31PM
shiggy is holding a game cube disc in his hand... wheres part 2 of this clip?
unreal mccoy @ May 16th 2006 1:09PM
The disc is ejected so far that you can tell that the mechanism extends to a point where accepted GC discs would be no problem. Cool.
Shiro @ May 16th 2006 3:09PM
So the Wii -gently- ejects?
Good to know. ;D
Mullet @ May 16th 2006 4:23PM
Isn't the slot for the GC games within the little panel where the controllers plug in for it?
I could be horribly mistaken tho.

As the other commenters said, I really want to see the Wii working with GameCube discs.
The_Wind_Waker8 @ May 16th 2006 7:58PM
What'd ya expect? For the Wii to spit out the disks like the PSP once did?
Eric @ May 17th 2006 3:45PM
Anyone remember the Apple G4 Cube? (was that the name?)
I like the toaster output from that. But how will the gamecube disc eject. It's so tiny(8cm) that if it comes out that it might fall off. The 12 cm disc comes out about 60% so I guess it could still hold it out.
Hemi @ May 18th 2006 8:43PM
I must say, for me, this really emphasizes again just how small the Wii is. Seeing the disc pop out for the first time, I found myself thinking "Wow, is that some kind of crazy mega-sized disc there or something?"

My day is now complete, btw, does anyone need any strawberry milk?
