Rumor: Mario Paint on the DS
1up editor Luke Smith recently posted about some tastey morsels
that'll be running in the May issue of Electronics Gaming Monthly. Of these morsels, the tastiest to DS Fanboy
readers (and Bloggers) is a rumor that the DS could be seeing an adaptation of the beloved SNES title Mario
Paint.
Considering how accessible the DS is to people who aren't hardcore gamers and the recent success Brain Training has enjoyed on the handheld, the idea of a Mario Paint game hitting the DS is a great idea. Using the stylus to swat flies would be too much fun!

I thought this was going to be a launch title when I first heard about the DS but once it came out I never thought about MarioPaint until now.

Mario Paint on the DS would be so awesome.
And I'm pretty that the swatting flies mini-game is unlockable on WarioWare Touched.

The idea of making a version of Mario Paint with more colours and WFC is awesome, although I had it myself a while ago, imagine being able to share your images with the world!

Imagine iSketch-ish WiFi capability. It's getting kind of old to be saying this about another Nintendo project, but this has tons of potential.

wooo .. what about Revolution Paint. That rev control scheme would rock for 3D modeling software.

This is awesome. I hope it's true. Now we just need a proper successor for the GameBoy Camera.

I just bought a DS last week that has Animal Crossing bundled with it. I'm hooked!
I was wondering how you could suggest an old game to port to DS? I loved Pokemon Snap on the 64 and think it would be fun to play it again on the DS.

"And I'm pretty that the swatting flies mini-game is unlockable on WarioWare Touched." I know for the GC version of WarioWare, that it is used to select a winner to play a minigame in this version of Vs. for it...
"Now we just need a proper successor for the GameBoy Camera." HAHAHA I had a GameBoy Camera... it was awesome... but there was no point if you did not have a printer... and I did not have a printer :(

That does sound like an awesome port... maybe update it with pokemon I have never heard of(anything past yellow version that contains new pokemon that is not in Super Smash Bros. Melee)
