New Castlevania DS game to be revealed soon

If a suggestively worded blurb at the back of this month's Nintendo Power magazine is to be believed, the next issue is set to unveil a brand new Castlevania game for everyone's favorite touchy-feely portable. Under the "World Exclusive" banner, the text reads:
As mysterious as a new moon, the follow-up to one of 2005's best DS titles is a whip-smart adventure that you won't want to miss.
Perhaps we just haven't been spending enough time outside, but those words instantly conjure up the loving image of an androgynous hero traipsing through a musty, upside-down castle and whipping evil bats to shreds. They also match up with Konami's previous promises that there would be another entry into the series following the spectacular Dawn of Sorrow, this time incorporating Nintendo's Wi-Fi service. Oh yes.
Though the mag's mention of a moon might imply a sequel to the GBA's Circle of the Moon, would a port of Symphony of the Night be too much to ask for? If so, how about we suggest some other appropriate titles:
- Castlevania: Dirge of Despair
- Castlevania: Polka of Purgatory
- Castlevania: Elegy of Regret
- Castlevania: Waltz of Discontentedness
- Castlevania: Whine of Irritability
- Castlevania: Ditty of Unhappiness

question: how do you know what is in the back of the magazine? I have a subscription and haven't gotten the issue yet, and as far as I know it shouldn't get here for at least a couple of weeks. Is there some kind of super secret advance subscription? where you get the magazine before they even print it?

Come on, none of those follow the approved naming convention for the system. What you're looking for is Ditty of Sadness.

Actually, it's the end of March, so we should be getting the next issue soon.
New Castlevania. Awesome. Now, I want to know what the "biggest scoop of the year so far!" is.

JM, I got my issue last week, and I seem to get my issues at about the same time each month. Nothing special about my subscription. Your province/state's postal service probably just sucks.

Ah yes, the DS naming convention. How about this then:

Castlevania: Dracula's Sex-change
Seriously, though, this'll be awesome. I hope they lose the useless magic seal stuff and instead put the touchscreen to a better use--not in action, either. Imagine an inventory/equipment manager, where you drag and drop weapons and armor onto a model of your character.
Nam-Ereh-Won @ Mar 28th 2006 11:21AM
Castlevania: Salsa of Suffering perhaps?
Nathan Whincup @ Mar 28th 2006 11:44AM
The games working name was revealed last year among Mario3on3 and Tingle RPG.
Castlevania: Dracula
Working title points towards another word beginning with s after Dracula. I'm guessing...
Castlevania: Dracula's Story
Possibly you can play as Dracula, and online you can battle as feuding vampires?
bart @ Mar 28th 2006 12:40PM
vrf - you are a genius. Drag-n-drop inventory management would be the bee's knees.

or Castlevania: Rumba of Regret
